I guess you’ve heard by now that Ralph Nader is running for President.  He announced his candidacy yesterday. Although still reviled by some for running in 2000 and now reviled again for running in 2008, Ralph Nader has made his mark on our society.  When “change” is this election’s principal word, one would be hard pressed to find anyone who has effected more change during his career than Nader.  If he’s not careful, however, his mark may be tarnished permanently by these forays into presidential politics that seem to have more to do with ego than change.  In any event, his entry into the race is unlikely to have an impact on labor and employment issues being addressed by the candidates.
