Cultural Offering mentions my theory on The Man Gene.  CO also posts one of the funniest TV ads Coke has had in a while.

I also appreciate being mentioned in the 13th Military History Carnival for my post on “Best Qualified Candidate.”

Rush Nigut mentions my “Overdocumentation” post, with some helpful disagreement.

Julie Elgar assesses the first “new” episode of TV’s The Office in that’s what she said.

Execupundit nails how to do something that we’re all called upon to do at times: introduce a speaker.  The post (April 19) is called “The Introduction.”

William Tincup introduces a company called Standout Jobs, which could be of interest to the HR world.

Another subject of interest to HR is mentoring.  What About Clients? posts (April 15) “Golden on Mentoring.”

In a follow-up to a civility post I’ve reference previously, Bob Sutton Work Matters discusses assholes in the workplace.

Infamy or Praise defines (April 15) ”cease and desist” in a way you must know will be a bit unusual.

Ditto unusual:  Fear and Loathing–The Gonzo Papers encourages sign-ups for the progressive dinner blog carnival.

Jon Hyman blogs about new harassment headaches the employment of teens can bring.

A similar post can be found in Delaware Employment Law Blog.  I guess this means that summer hires are upon us.

Workplace Prof Blog has a post (April 18) about liability for harassment commited by third parties.

Overlawyered weighs in on the sex harassment mess in the office of the Ohio Attorney General, as does Above the Law. (Click here for my view.)

Lewd gestures are bad when made at work.  The ABA Journal notes they’re worse when made in court.

Wall Street Journal Law Blog wonders why so few women are atop the law firm pyramid.

PointofLaw blogs (April 14) about issues involving the use of arbitration to resolve employment disputes.

Dan Schwartz reports on a case about whether placing “The Book of Poop” on a disabled employee’s desk is harassment.

I’m A Pundit Too gives us an overview of the presidential campaign as of 4/18/08.

One Vote Matters focuses on the all-important primary in Pennsylvania.

Wills Perspective provides opinion on an issue always involved in presidential politics: big gov’t vs. small gov’t.

And to close things out, some music from Cultural Offering.

Thanks for the link. That Coke ad was pretty good.

You’re welcome. As I’m sure you know, there is a series of Coke ads like this. Only part of the one posted in Cultural Offering is aired on TV. The whole thing is funnier than the portion shown in the TV ad, but I guess they had to cut it to fit the amount of time they were buying for the ad. All of these ads use real lawyers, some of whom are in the Coke Legal Department. None of the lawyers knew they were being videotaped. A little marketing genius if you ask me.
