Other Blogs

Check ‘em out.

Welker’s Wikinomics Blog gives my blog a plug because I gave WWB a plug.  Now that’s the way this blogging stuff is supposed to work.  Seriously, I stand by my approval of WWB and encourage you to check it out for an understandable approach to economics.  After all, there is a connection between economics and the workplace.

A new blog carnival, self-described as a wonderful, some sometimes weird, selection of articles collected in the “Blog Carnival of Observations on Life,” includes my post called “Boys vs. Girls: Reversal of Fortune?” I like being included in this kind of carnival.  Check it out for the wonderful and the weird.

Anything Goes & General News includes my post on “Religion and Work” under its “politics” section.  Other sections include posts on business, entertainment, finance, news, odd news, technology, top stories and much more.  In fact, check it out for “anything.”

Lesson Plans includes my post on “Young Teachers Gone Wild.”  Check out this “Teacher’s Life Blog Carnival,” and you’ll find other posts that could be helpful to human resources professionals.

That’s what she said continues to fill non-episode weeks of The Office with good stuff.  This week, we have sex, flatulence and blogging.

For those of you who do business in Canada or have a business in Canada, there’s an interesting post about collective bargaining on Northern Exposure.

I recently did a post called “The Ethics Fiction.”  The ABA Journal weekly newsletter discusses the potential ethical problems of a law firm’s website.

The obvious blog for a Friday the 13th post is Infamy or Praise.  Although any post on IorP could arguably qualify as a Friday the 13th post, the one actually falling on June 13 didn’t disappoint.  It’s about an Australian judge who halted a drug conspiracy trial because several jurors had been routinely playing the puzzle game Sudoku as the trial proceeded.  This is all the more interesting because I have reliable, albeit anecdotal, evidence that Sudoku is a drug, as addictive as meth–but I digress.

Cultural Offering has a great Father’s Day post called “Thanks, Dad.”  Another CO post worth checking out is “Trying to succeed versus trying not to fail.”

Execupundit (June 14) has an insightful “Conversation with a Troll” that’s a must-read for any human resources professional.

Check out The Laconic Law Blog for some recent jury verdicts and settlements in employment law cases.

And now music from Cultural  Offering.
